Fitness Tip: Meal Prepping
Meal preparation that is done days or even weeks in advance is a greatly beneficial lifestyle aspect and fitness component to you ultimately achieving success with your fitness goal pursuit.
Having your meals ready to eat when hunger hits will keep you from bingeing out on not-so-good snacks and/or prepackaged convenience food.
So how does one go about the process of meal prepping?
- Plan out your fitness food choices, including your fitness snacks
- Shop for your meal components
- Prepare and/or pre-cook your meals
- Measure and/or weigh out your meal portions
- Place your prepared meals in designated food savers
- Refrigerate or freeze your prepared meals
So now that you know, go ahead and start Meal Prepping, and then all you have to do when it’s time for a hot meal is to conveniently ‘heat-and-eat’.
