Free digital events include educational activities, live music, crafts and stories
CLEVELAND, OH (November 10, 2020) –

The school semester may be winding down, but the fun is just getting started at the Rock Hall! Beginning November 14th the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame kicks off its free virtual Fam Jam series presented by the John P. Murphy Foundation and hosted in partnership with The Cleveland Public Library, The Beck Center for the Arts, and The Children’s Museum of Cleveland.

Fam Jams will take place on November 14th, December 12th, and January 9th on the Rock Hall’s YouTube channel. The events are free to stream and begin at 11am EST.

Featuring music education activities curated by the Rock Hall’s award-winning Education team, live performances from The Beck Center for the Arts, crafts with The Children’s Museum of Cleveland and story time with The Cleveland Public Library, each virtual variety hour event is jam-packed with engaging content for kids of all ages.

Teachers and parents can create a free account on Rock Hall EDU, the Rock Hall’s digital education platform powered by PNC to access supplemental activity information including craft supply lists, instruction sheets, and accompanying activity worksheets.

To date, Rock Hall EDU has reached nearly a million students in over 5,700 cities in 116 countries.

Additional educational resources such as professionally developed lesson plans, presentations, videos, playlists, and writing prompts are also available for download on Rock Hall EDU. All materials meet national and state learning standards in a variety of subject areas including music, social studies, English and more. New content is posted regularly, and the database is searchable by subject, grade (Kindergarten through college), decade (1950s through today), or media type.
